Add some zing to your salad. Salad Zinger
The Salad Zinger is a very clever tool for infusing fresh, natural flavors into oils, vinegars, and dressings. Simply add your ingredients to the grind cup at the bottom of the 12-oz. Salad Zinger bottle (garlic, onion, citrus, spices, fruit, etc.), pour in olive oil and vinegar, and shake. The result is a healthy and delicious homemade dressing. The Salad Zinger can make flavored oils and vinegars for dipping, marinating, sautéing, or to add flavor to dishes such as pastas, rice, or potatoes. You can create a spicy chipotle chili oil, or fresh ginger-flavored salad dressings.
All you need to do is to add fresh ingredients, twist on the bottom cup, and shake. When you screw on the bottom cup, the twisting action grinds the ingredients, releasing flavor juices and allowing them to steep into the oil, vinegar, or salad dressing. The bottom-mounted grinder in the Salad Zinger retains the ground ingredients, to allow the pure extracted flavors to travel through a stainless steel screen for maximum infusing capabilities. The recommended shelf life of Salad Zinger creations is three days, if refrigerated. If you're infusing oil, allow one-two days of infusing to maximize flavor. If you're infusing vinegar, infusion will take place within one-two hours, depending on the ingredients. The Salad Zinger typically produces one infusion per grind; after the infusion is consumed, empty the Salad Zinger completely, discard used ingredients, and clean before Zinging a new tasty batch of salad dressing. |
