Salter's Aquatronic scales, like the Max-View, can weigh both dry and wet ingredients in either English or metric units of measure. The Max-View gets its name from the oversized display screen that shows not only weight, but the room temperature and the built-in kitchen timer. The touch pad controls on the sleek, black surface mean the Max-View is easy to keep clean and let you zero out the display at the touch of a button, so you can weight all the ingredients in a recipe in one bowl, one after the other. The Max-View weighs up to 13 lbs., more than most kitchen scales, but despite the capacity and all the features, it measures just 12" x 9" and is less than 3" thick, easy to store in a drawer, but nice-looking enough to leave out on your counter.
