FlipLock canisters are made of borosilicate "laboratory" glass, glass that is both very light and very strong, as well as being resistant to a wide range of temperatures. The lids, as the name implies, feature a locking airtight silicone seal that you open and close with just a flip of the handle. You can do it easily with one hand. The locking handle lays flat when closed, so the canisters can stack for stable storage. Your stored food touches nothing but glass and the entire canister is BPA free. The glass body is dishwasher safe, hand-washing is recommended for the lid.
