The classic jars from France, with wire bales and rubber gaskets. Le Parfait jars are wonderful for storage, with an airtight seal. Of course, they' re ideal for canning, too. They come in two shapes, jars and terrines. The jars have a slightly rounded, tapered shape; terriens have straight sides and a wider mouth. Extra or replacement gaskets come in two sizes, 85mm and 100mm; all the Le Parfait we carry uses the 85mm gasket, except for the .75-liter terrine, which requires the 100mm gasket.
