Emile Henry, the French maker of traditional Burgundy clay dinnerware and bakeware, developed the world's first stovetop ceramic cookware. Called Flame-Top, this cookware cooks beautifully on all types of stoves, from gas to halogen (except magnetic induction), and goes in the oven. It's safe in the microwave and goes in the dishwasher and freezer, too. The beautiful, dark-red color makes it ideal for "one-pot" cooking; saute on the stovetop to start, then finish in the oven.

Choose from a wide variety of pieces. The covered, round Dutch ovens come in 4.2-qt., 5.5-qt. and 7-qt. sizes; the 6.3-qt. oven is an oval shape. The rectangular baker measures 12" x 9", the deep rectangular roasting pan is 16" long and 10" wide. The beautiful covered brazier pan holds 3.25 qts. and is 11.5" in diameter.
