This utterly-simple yet stunningly beautiful table is crafted in Vermont of solid, North American cherry by Lydon Furniture. Lyndon Furniture is located in, as they call it, the "Northeast Kingdom" of Vermont, in the town of Lyndon. Using only native American hardwoods, cherry, maple, walnut, and oak, and the most environmentally-responsible practices, Lyndon craftsmen fashion some of the finest furniture made in this country. All the wood used by Lyndon furniture comes from within a 500-mile radius of the factory, some from the owner's property less than two miles away (he makes his own maple syrup, too), and all is harvested sustainably, most using the Single Tree Selection method. All wood scrap is distributed for bio-mass heating, all the sawdust goes to local farmers for animal bedding, the shipping cartons are made locally from 100% post-consumer waste. The furniture itself is solid hardwood, simply styled, beautifully made, and sure to last a lifetime. The French Country table measures 42" x 60" in the closed position, with two 18" leaves which give you options of 78" or 96" lengths..
Lyndon builds all furniture to order and offers an extensive range of tables, chairs, buffets and sideboards, even bedroom furniture. All are available in solid cherry, maple, walnut, or oak. Tables come in a huge range of styles, sizes and configurations, both solid-top and extension. Lyndon will even make custom-size tables if you wish. We invite you to visit the Lyndon website
