Okay, this is a very clever, very useful innovation in timers, with both numerical and visual representations of time on the face. There's the standard clock face, with the minutes marked off in one-minute increments. Then there's the pie wedge of the dial, that gets smaller as the timer ticks down. So, at a glance, whether you can read the numbers or not, you can get a sense of how much time's left on the timer, by the size of the dial slice that's left visible. Cool, huh?

To set, twist the top of the timer to the desired number of minutes and let go; the timer will begin counting down. At the same time, the grey lid will begin to cover more and more of the dial. A classic alarm bell sounds when time is up. 3.25" in diamter, 1.5" tall.
